Job Description



The support specialist role is to provide customer assistance through the quoting and implementation for enrollment of group members. This position requires a high level focus to detail and a strong dedication to timely responses to customer requests to achieve the goals of our organization and the various clients we service.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Variety of administrative tasks that you will be trained on including;
  • Run quotes with minimal errors and supervision
  • Complete quality checks quickly and accurately
  • Develop an understanding and the skills to meet the underwriting requirements and processes for both New Business and Existing Business customers
  • Exceed customer expectations through professional, courteous, and proactive service and communications
  • Partner with agents, internal staff, and carriers to assist internal and external customers with inquiries and urgent issues

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills required. Frequent interaction with clients, associates, and agencies requires positive customer relations and ability to work with diverse populations. A pleasant and helpful demeanor will assist in the favorable development and maintaining of relationships
  • Exceed customer expectations through professional, courteous, and proactive service and communications
  • Experience working with insurance providers – a plus
