Job Description



Seeking a full time Front Desk Receptionist to act as the primary contact with company guests and callers. Essential duties include monitoring and operating the phone system, offering hospitality, performing clerical support duties, running office errands, and maintaining cleanliness of the office spaces.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming calls that are directed to the Operator
  • Take accurate messages as needed
  • Greet and welcome all guests
  • Ensure that the office remains clean and organized throughout the day (light janitorial work - cleaning kitchens, trash removal, vacuuming)
  • Sort incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail, deliver outgoing mail and packages to post office at the end of the day as needed
  • Monitor and order commonly used office supplies
  • Update/maintain calendar system for employees as needed
  • Maintain the most up-to-date customer/partner contact information
  • Assist with a variety of other administrative support functions and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as receptionist or administrative assistant in a professional fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience with various clerical duties, including word processing and electronic mail
  • Strong customer service experience preferred
  • Good understanding of general office practices and procedures
  • Proficiency in proper use of English grammar in spoken and written word
  • Personal demeanor which is professional, mature, courteous, and cheerful
  • Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a professional and highly confidential corporate environment;
