Injection Mold Setter – Fraser, MI

Our client is seeking an experienced Injection Mold Setter to join their growing team in Fraser, MI! This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits with no employee contribution after 60 days of employment (effective the 1st of the following month).

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment in accordance with company procedures.
• Review the Operator Display Board daily for work instructions and quality alerts.
• Perform production duties, including trimming flash, sorting, and light sub-assembly work.
• Apply internal and external labels accurately per specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA and company safety standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement and team problem-solving activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of plastic processing experience required
• Proven experience as a Mold Setter in an injection molding environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic prints
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record
• Ability to lift/push/carry up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Hi-Lo (Forklift) License required
