Quality Inspector
-This team member will need to be skilled in reading tape measurements (Standard and Metric) and basic knowledge of blueprint reading.
 


POSITION SUMMARY:

Cleans, assembles, prepares parts for painting, and packages finished parts for shipment according to work order, quality, and safety specifications.


PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Cleans part using various hand and powered hand tools to remove metal slag or finish surface debris, ensuring parts are cleaned to work order specifications.
• Washes parts using a wash booth or chemical solvents to remove all debris in preparation for painting.
• Performs assembly work as required for finished product according to work order specifications.
• Performs accurate fitting and adjusting to required tolerances as specified.
• Packages final assembled parts for shipment according to the work order specifications.
• Repeatedly inspects work to ensure quailty of prouduct.
• Records accurate labor records.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Performs all work maintaining quality standards.
• Performs all work in a safe manner by wearing proper PPE for each job and adhering to safety regulations and standards.
• Performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of all required production, quality, and safety training.
• Some bending, twisting, and stooping required. Some manual lifting duties will occasionally require lifting to 50lbs. All loads weighing over 50lbs must be completed with use of overhead or jib crane in conjunction with attached lifting devices.
