Available Shift: 1 ST Shift 7am-3:30pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Responsible for accomplishing all painting services for the Engineering Department.
- Applies various finishes to buildings, rooms, other structures, and roadway surface lots, including primers or sealers.
- Prepares, cleans, and tapes all jobsites.
- Prepares walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint, etc.
- Mixes colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency.
- Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.
- Cleans up worksite debris and posts wet paint signs in area of painting.
- Fills cracks and holes with appropriate material.
- Paints surfaces according to instructions with various tools.
- Demonstrates exemplary behavior at all times contributing to the total team concept of the department.

- Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers.
- Able to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines.
- Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety.
- Conscientious with great attention to detail.
- Aptitude in using appropriate tools.
- Good communication skills are essential.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Drug test and Background check required.
- All work will be performed with quality and in a timely manner while maintaining a positive attitude and a willingness to work and learn.
- High School Diploma/GED

- Previous Commercial Painting Experience
