Starting Pay: Depends on Experience Available Shift: 1 ST Shift 7am-3:30pm ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Installs locking systems (e.g., doors, door hardware, panic hardware, changes lock combinations, security bolts, etc.)
Cuts new or duplicate keys (e.g., building and vehicle keys, file cabinets, desks, cabinets, lost or stolen locks/keys, etc.)
Repairs various items, systems and/or components (e.g., locks, worn tumblers, shortens tumblers, springs, changes combinations, exit hardware etc.)
Maintains Key Database
Informs personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for the purpose of providing necessary information for making decisions and/or taking appropriate action.
Prepares documentation in a variety of written and electronic formats (e.g., card codes, daily paperwork/log, time and materials, key and material records, key inventory, etc.) for the purpose of providing written support in compliance with regulations and/or conveying information.
Maintains tools and equipment or the purpose of ensuring availability of equipment in safe operating condition.
Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintain inventory and ensuring availability of required items.
Responds to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent — required. Valid South Carolina driver's license - required. PREFERRED SKILLS Public, commercia, or industrial locksmith experience Basic Computer Skills Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier) Proficient computer skills (work processing) Proficient computer skills (spreadsheets) Data entry Mathematical skills
