Scale Operator – Basic functions:
6:00am – 2:30pm
2 Month assignment at least, but with the possibility of being hired on directly
Will be interacting on average with 100 drivers coming and going from facility
Casual attire, but steel-toed boots should also be worn – Office Setting
- Responsible for maintaining a database of inbound/outbound material tonnages
- Using a Microsoft access database and a custom sql database integrated with your scale to perform these duties
- Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with drivers and loader operators
- Email correspondence, to include paper reports
- Keeping spreadsheets of inventory activity
- Basic computer skills
- Customer Service Oriented
