Job Responsibilities/Duties (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
Prepares some of the items necessary for the cafeteria, patients & catered functions. Sets up cafeteria and patient tray line prior to opening. Responsible for the preparation of all items for use the next day. Prepare food for patient and cafeteria, patient tray assembly, prepare special order items, and assist with catering.
Must be able to understand and follow written an oral instructions. Knowledge of and ability to manage simple mathematical calculations including recipe and food item measurements and portions
Must maintain equipment and sanitation standards per DHEC regulations
Keeps floor clear of food particles. Informs management of large food spillage
Previous food handling experience preferred
Reading, writing, and basic comprehension of instructions
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Background check and Drug test required
