SUMMARY
Cleans and sanitizes according to EVS procedures and policies. Performs special cleaning/EVS procedures.

Cleans and sanitizes according to EVS procedures and policies. Performs special cleaning/EVS procedures.
SOME SPECIFIC DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Has demonstrated proficiency in all responsibilities as required by Tech I and Tech II.
- Understands all waste types and is able to dispose of it in correct manner.
- Collects Infectious and Hazardous Waste from all areas and prepares it for pick up.
- Demonstrates knowledge of different floor types and has ability to scrub, burnish and refinish floors
- Perform and instruct cleaning procedures according to procedures.
- Hang cubicle and window curtains.
- Utilize paging system and spectra link phones.
- Utilize HEV system
- Routinely clean isolation rooms
- Ability to work without constant supervision
- Help with inventory and control of supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent required; however, requisite experience in similar role will be considered in lieu of educational requirement when necessary and appropriate.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions necessary. Ability to read, write and comprehend basic instruction.
- 1-2 Years’ Experience in Environmental Services or Related Field Required.
