Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for building a well-trained team which is passionate about safety, quality, efficiency, and company success
Meet or exceed company expectations for production performance to maximize sales
Properly utilize labor resources to improve efficiency, minimize labor expense and reduce waste
Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report any quantity or quality variances to Shipping Manager.
Other Responsibilities and Skills Needed:
• Must be willing to work over and / or weekends when needed • Basic mathematical skills

Meet or exceed company expectations for production performance to maximize sales
- Safely and efficiently transfer finished goods pallets to the correct location in the freezer.
- Working in freezer pulling orders.
- Daily, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
- Ensure the efficient stacking and storage of all products in the appropriate areas to prevent damage, ensure proper location and enable accurate FIFO selection for shipping from Freezer.
Properly utilize labor resources to improve efficiency, minimize labor expense and reduce waste
- Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation.
- Ensure proper location scanning of all products in the freezer to maximize efficiency, ensure proper control of inventory and eliminate inventory adjustments.
- Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers.
- Move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, electric pallet jacks, or other power equipment.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
- Ensure all pallets in the freezer are in the correct location, have accurate tickets and that all pallets are free of damage. Ensure there is no loose wood from pallets, plastic wrap or any trash left on floors to create safety issues.
Ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report any quantity or quality variances to Shipping Manager.
