Job Expectations to include, but not limited to:
The shipping team in this area focuses on ensuring that customer orders are accurately fulfilled, shipped, and delivered on time. 

• On-time delivery: Ensuring that high-quality aluminum products are delivered to customers according to strict deadlines and requirements. This includes meeting "bank" requirements, or the inventory levels a customer needs to maintain.
• Scheduling coordination: Working closely with the production scheduling team to confirm that material is processed and prepared for shipping to meet customer deadlines.
• Customer service liaison: Acting as the main point of contact for customer service teams regarding supply chain issues. The shipping team helps resolve problems and manages communication to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Inventory management: Monitoring and tracking inventory to prevent shortages or overages and managing aged inventory. This role helps to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for shipping and delivery.
• Paperwork and documentation: Ensuring all shipping documentation is accurate and correctly recorded in the company's warehousing and enterprise software systems, such as Oracle.
• Issue resolution: Supporting and maintaining an "escalation hot list" for high-priority delivery issues.
• Safety culture: Actively participating in and championing the company's safety policies and culture to maintain a zero-incident work environment.
