KITCHEN HELPER - $17/hr.
2nd Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM
3rd Shift: 8 PM - 4 AM

A Kitchen Helper performs essential tasks to support a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen by cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas, receiving and storing supplies, and managing waste. Key duties include washing dishes and utensils, taking out the trash, and maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness to support chefs and cooks in meal preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Washing, sanitizing, and organizing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils; sweeping and mopping floors; cleaning and sanitizing work stations; and cleaning kitchen equipment.
  • Receiving & Storing: Receiving and unpacking food and supply deliveries, and storing these items in the correct locations according to safety standards.
  • Kitchen Operations: Maintaining an organized kitchen by putting away utensils and equipment, and ensuring that the kitchen is stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Waste Management: Emptying garbage cans, replacing garbage bags, and ensuring proper disposal of waste.
  • Supporting Staff: Following instructions from chefs and other kitchen staff to support smooth kitchen operations and timely meal service.
