1st shift 6AM-2:30PM 

 Perform linen distribution procedures to ensure hospital linen needs are met. 

Deliver scrubs and stock scrubEx/alEx machines. 
Deliver all linen exchange carts.  Deliver linen to stations that are not on the exchange cart program. 
Deliver and honor all call-in linen orders. 
Prepare satellite standing/call-in linen orders for courier delivery. 
Gather soiled linen from chute rooms and stage for pick-up. 
Inventory and record linen that is delivered/returned from the stations in hand-held devices. 
Rebuild carts utilizing returns from distribution sites and stage for next day distribution. 
Assist in unloading/loading linen truck. 
Maintain a clean, safe work environment. 
Perform cleaning and other duties as assigned or requested, flexible to work in any areas as needed. 
Attend all required meetings / Pass annual Safety Test. 
During idle time, coordinate with Manager/Supervisor/Team Leader to perform work as needed to maintain appearance of the linen services area. 
Any other duties as assigned or requested.

HS Diploma or GED equivalent required; however, requisite experience in similar role will be considered in lieu of educational requirement when necessary and appropriate. 
Ability to follow written and oral instructions necessary. 
Good communication skills, math, and writing skills necessary. 

Daily use and maintenance of linen carts, hand-held computers, washers and dryers.
