We are seeking an experienced and motivated Die Setter to join our plastic injection molding team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently performing mold changes, setting up molds, and supporting production operations. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Thursday
Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience)
Set up molds safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
Identify and communicate any deficiencies or issues with molds, tools, or equipment to the shift supervisor.
Ensure molds are set according to industry and quality standards to ensure first-shot accuracy.
Perform mold changes according to the scheduled job lineup.
Communicate and coordinate molding requirements with other shifts as needed.
Work closely with the Shift Supervisor regarding upcoming mold and color changes.
Complete required setup tasks, including preparing the mold, workstation, and auxiliary equipment.
Maintain continuous housekeeping to keep mold-setting areas clean, organized, and safe.
Ensure all tools and equipment are cleaned and stored properly after use.
Report any damage, maintenance needs, or repair issues promptly.
Promote and practice safe operations at all times, ensuring the safety of yourself and co-workers.
While performing the duties of this position, employees may be required to:
Stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Work in environments requiring close vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
