Embroidery Production Trimmer & Packer

Location: Madison Heights, MI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.60/hr


Position Overview

The Embroidery Production Trimmer & Packer is responsible for preparing garments for embroidery, trimming completed designs, and sorting/packing finished clothing items. This role supports the production team by ensuring all garments meet quality standards before shipment. Candidates must have strong attention to detail, be comfortable with repetitive tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Trim and clean embroidered logos and designs after garments come off the machine

  • Sort, fold, and pack completed apparel into boxes for shipment

  • Prepare garments for embroidery by loading/unloading items onto equipment

  • Assist with setting up art files and operating embroidery machinery (training provided)

  • Iron, clean, and package garments for customer delivery

  • Maintain a clean, organized work area

  • Communicate progress or production issues to the supervisor

  • Support additional production tasks as needed


Requirements

  • Ability to stand/walk for most of the shift

  • Ability to lift and carry 8–40 lbs regularly

  • Attention to detail and quality-focused work habits

  • Basic comfort working around embroidery or production machinery

  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to production schedules

  • Must speak and understand English for safety communication

  • Must pass a federal & county background check

  • Must pass a 4-panel drug screen

  • I-9 and E-Verify completion required prior to start


Work Environment

  • Fast-paced production/warehouse setting

  • Exposure to temperature changes, noise, and production machinery

  • Requires repetitive motion and standing for long periods

  • Collaborative team environment with supervisor oversight


Additional Hiring Requirements

Candidates selected for this position must complete:

  • NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement)

  • Schedule C Form

  • EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) Training Confirmation

Start date is typically 1–1.5 weeks after the job offer, depending on paperwork and compliance completion.
