Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance across multiple trades, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and architectural finishes.
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain facility systems and equipment.
- Follow all safety practices, policies, and OSHA guidelines to maintain safe working conditions.
- Maintain, clean, and organize tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Identify and plan repairs or replacements for damaged or outdated equipment to avoid service disruptions.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and building plans.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer and client needs.
- Operate cleaning and maintenance equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and carpet extractors.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening may be required, depending on the position.
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safe handling.
- Experience providing maintenance services in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and building plans; strong electrical background preferred.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and facility safety standards.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- High attention to detail and reliable completion of tasks, especially repetitive or routine work.
Physical Requirements
Ability to:
- Work in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, rain, or snow) for extended periods.
- Climb ladders; stand or walk for long periods on various surfaces.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Bend, twist, stoop, kneel, reach overhead, and operate equipment repetitively during shift.
- Operate cleaning and maintenance machinery safely and effectively.
