Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced HR Representative to support a workforce of 500+ employees across multiple branch locations. This role is primarily focused on employee relations investigations, handling workplace complaints, policy violations, and complex HR cases in a high-volume environment. The position requires regular travel between the San Francisco and San Mateo offices to provide consistent HR support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct employee relations investigations including workplace complaints, policy violations, and disciplinary matters
  • Document investigation findings and make recommendations, including termination recommendations when necessary
  • Partner with Regional HR leadership and branch management on HR initiatives and employee relations matters
  • Interpret and enforce company policies and employment laws
  • Collaborate with HR departments including benefits, workers’ compensation, legal, and recruiting
  • Review employee screening results for policy compliance
  • Support new hire onboarding and orientation when needed
  • Manage multiple investigations and HR projects in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience preferred
  • Strong experience with employee relations investigations
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel between San Francisco and San Mateo locations
