Janitorial/Industrial Cleaner

Location: Pendelton, SC

 

$13.00/Hour

1st Shift- Mon-Fri 6:30am – 2:30pm

 

Job Overview:

Play a pivotal role in maintaining the hygiene, safety, cleanliness and operational efficiency in an industrial manufacturing setting.

 

Job Responsibilities/Duties

General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.

Facility sanitation including cleaning and sanitizing floors, walls, windows etc.

Cleaning restrooms, breakrooms, and offices and restocking them as needed.

Sweep, vacuum, mop and polish floors.

Empty trash and any recycling containers.

Perform heavy duty cleaning on machinery as needed or as instructed.

Monitor facility for and safety hazards (example: spills) and clean them as needed.

Make sure the line/area is neat and operational at all times.

Use a wide range of chemicals including solvents, detergents, degreasers and disinfectants on a daily basis.

Cleaning heavy duty grime, oil, grease and other contaminants typically found in production and machining processes.

Operating special high powered cleaning equipment as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Background Check and Drug Screen required.

Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job including standing, walking, bending, & climbing for the entirety of the shift.

Able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.

Safely work with a wide variety of cleaning chemicals.

Be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, earplugs and steel toe or composite toe shoes for the entirety of the shift.

Adhere to dress code, including no sleeveless shirts or shorts.

Comply with company random searches on the presmises.
