CNC Lathe Operator
Position Type: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Compensation: $17.00/hour

Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Machine Setup: Mount, install, align, and secure cutting tools, attachments, and fixtures using manual tools.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, technical sketches, engineering drawings, understand part dimensions and tolerances.
- Quality Assurance: Measure and verify finished parts against specifications using precision instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Troubleshooting & Edits: Recognize errors, listen for mechanical issues (like dull tools), and adjust machine offsets or settings to correct deviations.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with CNC machinery (mills, lathes, routers) and basic understanding of G-code/M-code programming.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and critical thinking skills for handling equipment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 25–50 pounds and stand for extended periods during an 8-hour shift.

- Factory or machine shop settings that require personal protective equipment (PPE) like safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection.
