MIG Welder - Piedmont, SC

We are seeking experienced MIG Welders to join a growing manufacturing team in Piedmont, South Carolina. We are looking for dependable individuals who take pride in producing high-quality welds in a fast-paced production environment.

Pay Rate

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Compensation is based on welding experience and weld test performance.

Available Shifts

1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Overtime may be available as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Quality Department to ensure all welds meet quality standards and are free of porosity, defects, or flaws.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area with materials stacked safely and neatly.
• Meet production goals while working effectively in a team environment.
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Replace wire drums and spools with minimal assistance.
• Follow all safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience required.
• Welding certificate and/or hands-on welding experience accepted.
• Ability to pass a weld test conducted during the hiring process.
• Prototype welding experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.

Weld Test Requirements

• All candidates must complete a weld test as part of the hiring process.
• Candidates must bring their own welding helmet for the weld test.
